ITINERARY

The entire tour consists of 12 days. You can either join the entire length or the last 7 days.

5 Day Sacred Valley Tour Tour

Day 1:

You are picked up from the airport by one of our friendly guides and brought to your hotel. According to your energy level you can either rest first or jump into the tour right away and visit Cusco, the ancient city and Saqsaywahman. For the next 5 days you are in presence of a personal guide to take you to the sacred sites.

Day 2:

Here you visit the ancient ruins of Pisac and feel the powerful energy of the place. A perfect time to learn about the history, and culture of the Incas. Have time for rest and exploring.

Day 3:

Visit Moray, the mystical spiral terraces and Ollantaytambo, a powerful ancient city of the Incas. You will spend the night there and prepare for your long-awaited visit to Machu Picchu, the next day.

Day 4:

You are on a train, on your way to experience the magical land of Machu Picchu. You will spend a few hours here exploring with your guide and then slowly make your way back to your hotel. This will be a full and rich day.

Day 5:

A day for slowing down, shopping and exploring the local are. That would be a perfect day to buy souvenirs, gifts, and whatever you please. There is no itinerary for that day except enjoy and rest.

4 Day Meditation Retreat on the island Amantani

Day 6:

We are traveling from Cusco to the island Amantani for the upcoming silent meditation retreat. The luxurious bus leaves Cusco around 8:00am and after traveling the last hour by boat to the island we arrive at the retreat center around 5:30pm and have a detailed retreat introduction session after dinner.

Day 7:

15:00 Introduction in the meditation room

15:15 Silent hike to the sacred sites, with group meditation

Day 8:

Same like Day 7.

Day 9:

Morning program is the same with a long lunch break until 16:00
16:00 Meditation
17:00 Heart opening-closing ceremony
18:00 Retreat ends with sharing circle and following dinner

3 Days Rest and Relax at Lake Titicaca

Day 10:

We leave the island after breakfast by boat to the mainland and travel to the beautiful hotel next to a temple of fertility. Rest, relax and enjoy.

Day 11:

Enjoy the Beauty of the place and indulge into the luxuries of the hotel together with your partner.

Day 12:

Leaving the hotel after breakfast. The taxi will bring you to the airport in Juliaca or the bus terminal, depending where you travel afterwards.

FAQ

How is the weather in Peru?

It depends on the time of the year.

There are two main seasons in Peru.

From November until March is the rainy season. The weather is changing many times during the day between sunshine and showers. The temperature is mild and comfortable and nature is lush and green.

From April until October is the dry season. Blue sky and sunshine are the usual sight. It is more cold at night and in the shadow and warm in the sun.

How do I get there?

You will take an international flight to Lima and from there fly to Cusco where the tour starts.

The flight to Cusco has a spectacular view of the andes and we recommend you to ask for a window seat.

The tour ends at the airport in Juliaca from where you can fly back to Lima. We can also bring you back to Cusco instead.

Do I need a Visa for Peru?

Most nationalities don’t need a visa and receive a 30 – 180 days tourist visa when they enter Peru.

If you are from Europe or North America, you don’t need a visa, for all other nationalities, please check online or contact us.

What is the group like?

The spiritual tour is an exclusive experience with a maximum of 12 participants that are usually sharing an open mind and heart. Our guests come from all age groups and from all backgrounds and nationalities.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring good shoes and clothes for different kinds of weather.

Especially for the meditation retreat you will need comfortable and warm clothes.

You can also buy beautiful (warm) clothes in Peru.

How is the accommodation?

We stay in comfortable and beautiful hotels and guest houses with western standard.

On the island Amantani we stay in a local guest house which is simple, clean, comfortable and beautiful. The last 2 nights we stay at a luxurious hotel at the shores of lake titicaca. You will love it!

How is the food?

We provide delicious vegetarian meals.

If you have any special food requirements, please let us know before and we will arrange it.

Is it safe?

The places we visit during the tour are safe.

Peru is a third world country with a higher crime rate.

Though it very much depends on the area and we visit only places that we consider safe.

Can I extend my trip?

Of course. If you would like to stay longer in Peru before or after the tour, you can either make your own arrangements or ask us for an individual program. We are also happy to help you to make your own program and give you advices where to go etc.
